I have often wondered with the amount of members on this site, (and without being to personal) what is the age range of actual performing members. It would be interesting to know the youngest to oldest. Come on don't be bashful. I'll start it of, I am 58 this year and thank the lord I am still getting enough work to perform on a full time basis.............. Next Please............

I was 38 this year. Have also been singing from a young age, but i really got into it after been asked to sing onstage with the great bryan adams at Leeds town hall on his 1987 into the fire world tour, i got to sing "the kids wanna rock" with him and met him backstage after, one of the nicest, most down to earth lads you could meet. I also got a big kiss from Carol Decker from t,pau who were warm up act for him. Happy Days!! ;D ;D And my lovely wife recently gave birth to a beautiful little girl!! Life gets better with age!!

Hi ,I'm 58 and been playing and singing since 1960. Apache started it for me and then came the Beatles. Used to play 7 nights, and sometimes twice on a sunday. Still playing, only at weekends now,but that's enough .I can't seem to get motivated during the week, you know the story, come home from work, get the dinner, slob in front of the tele. But come the weekend i'm raring to go,and i hope it continues for a while yet. regards--weeo

61 here also.Born in 1946 then I caught amnesia. Biggest effect on my life was hearing shrimp boats, nature boy Tony Curtis haircuts. Beatles, Woburn Abbey {flower festival} Easy Rider the Marquee in London. Being a roadie, busking and travel. Have been in bands, trios, duos and then a few solos. Play guitar and keyboards{with auto chord} Sequencing since comming out of the ark. Have to transpose 4 semitones every 5 years.Rag doll now sounds like Wandering Star.

I'll be 64 come November. Started singing in the church choir at the age of eight and started piano lessons round about the same time. First pro gig at 16. Still playing on and off both solo and with a four/five piece. I came from the U.K. to Northern Cyprus six and a half years ago to semi-retire but don't seem to have managed it so far. I now split my time between the two countries. I guess music and the need to perform are in my blood so no plans to pack up totally for another 40 years or so.
