Da Doo Ron Ron tends to sock it to them in a second (uptemp) set and we've had favourable reactions to I Will Survive and Don't Leave Me This Way too. You can't beat a bit of disco late doors to move the floor!

When people call me ?Bohemian? they may mean as a criticisisum, but I take it as a compliment.

When it comes to getting the croud back I have one rule. Anything that involves the audience! I find no matter how much a crowd likes you, they will always like the sound of their own voices more. For example 'Mustang Sally' where they do the 'ride Sally ride' bit or 'Minnie The Moocher' where they copy the 'hi-di-hi-di-hi-di-hi' bit like in 'The Blues Bros' and so on. I have collected dozens of songs like this where the audience get involved and these ones are always the best. Steve Harley's 'Com Up And See Me (Make Me Smile) is a great song, but there isn't anything specific for the audience to do, therefore it doesn't engage them as much. At least that's how I see it anyway, and it's worked for 25 years so far! Andrew

Andrew That approach has been working for me too for yonks Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond is another that always engages the crowd. Cracklin' Rosie, is another.
