Simply magical.
This guy, Paul Potts, went on to win the whole thing, and rightly so. Marvellous singer.

I just can't stop watching this video..... the looks on the judges faces..... the emotional response from ... is her name Amanda?... The thunderous applause..... Golliath Falls.. the Giant is slain.... and David modestly walks away.... Brilliant!!

Yes.... Lets not forget about Connie.... simply amazing.... But what struck me about Paul.... and believe me Connie deserved to win just as much.... is the fact that Paul is an ordinary Bloke working an ordinary Job.... now connie... sweet little girl she is indeed.... has her whole life time to make it in the music business and undoubtly be blessed with the looks to go with this talent and lets be realistic here... as much as we don't wanna believe this.... the industry is still stuck on looks over talent... so not to downplay Connies obvious stellar talent.... Its pauls Emotion ... his life experiences ...that are on his sleeve as he sings.... Connie may have this one day as well but .... Paul won on emotion....  just my 2 cents worth. ;D |

I enjoy these type of shows. Living in Australia I would never have got a chance to see the any of those entrants. Thank you very much for giving me the opportunity to enjoy Paul's talent which also lead me to Connie's link. With the right guidance I feel Connie will go a long way musically in the future. Hopefully the show will lead to big things for Paul too. Great stuff. Lyn

Mr Potts' voice was not only a "Goosebump Moment", but also a humbling one. To think that society is so concerned with looks and then along comes someone like Paul Potts that demonstrates real talent and ability.
Absolutely brilliant
I'm like Ironbaden - I keep watching it over and over and keep getting goosebumps.
