i have just been to a Status Quo gig.
I was never a fan, but I am now, but Ive never been to a gig that was so loud. If you get the chance to be deafened, whether you like them or not, GO, they are the most professional act I have seen for years.
Theres a chance for all of us, if they can do that at their age.

I saw Status Quo the other year in Chichester West sussex. They were brilliant and really worked the audience. Real Proffesionals. I also saw Chris Rea when he was a support act to Lindisfarne in the 70's. He blew the audience away and had three encores. They Do play loud.
regards
Mark

Haven't seen Status Quo but AC/DC were very loud. They started with 'Thunderstruck' and Angus' guitar was deafening....that was before the rest of the band kicked in! Pink Floyd were also very loud but crystal clear.....we didn't realize how loud until we tried speaking to each other during songs. Floyd is the most professional band I have ever seen.....faultless.

I saw Quo on Monday nite, along with my good lady wife. I wasn't well and I've probably given loadsa other people the 'flu, but no way was I lettin' sixty quid go to waste, especially as I love SQ. The only band I've heard who can smack ya in the gut with their sound, like in the old 60's cellar clubs, except it took a lot less gear to do it back then. Regards all Bri
