Any version of Cakewalk will do this.Version 3 is user friendly and is a good learning tool. Will also show lyrics if they are on the file.

Cakewalk Virtual Jukebox is pretty good for this, you have a playlist and you can set the midi's to stop after each song and then start again by pushing the space bar. Another very good programme that I've started using now (thanks to Gibbo) is Van Basco, it does all of the above and much more! It's available as a free download on the main site! Yep I recommend vanbasco as you can change key, mute tracks and also save volume setting. I use it live on all my gigs and has never let me down.

Beleive it or not you can also use Windows Media Player. You won't be able to change keys or speed up files, one could always do these prior to gigs, but you can create play lists, etc. WMP is really good for when you want to mix midi with MP3s. This is what I do and it works the finest But I have to agree, Vanbasco is simply marvellous if you are only using midi. Great little product.

hi there, Just want to ask why some of my midifiles isn't working properly at the beginning of each song. I am using Vanbasco and external Sc 55MK ll. Sometimes the intro is too fast. I am using gs reset on the first measure and all the settings cc-pg on the second measure. have i DONE SOMETHING WRONG? THANKS
