Need some help from the pros.
Any tricks out there to give the vocals a thicker sound? Playing with Chorus & Reverb doesn't seem to get me where I want to be.....BIG FULL SOUND!

I would also like to know how to improve on vocals, As I play keyboard but not good enough for the chords to be bang on every time.I'm looking for a unit that will improve the voice (double up etc.) without the need for an instrument to go through it. I think zoom do one,any idea's anyone...........Pete.

Hey Pete,
TC Helicon makes a unit called The Vocal Doubler...pricey, but the effect is awesome. They have some samples on their website that you can listen to. Unit capable of up to 4 parts singing in unison...talk about thick! Also, I believe it's Digitech that has come out with a new unit where harmonies are triggered via the guitar. But, there is also a unison setting. Also, costs much less than the TC Helicon Vocal Doubler. Hope this helps..........Charlie

Roger Hi Roger, One solution, if you've got an appropriate sound module, is to add the PLG100-VH (Vocal Harmoniser) daughter board. There's a 'detune' setting which produces a slightly detuned pitch (user variable) and mixes it with the input signal to add "a rich chorusing effect" to quote their literature. Any good? Regards, JohnG.

I use a digitech s100 And have the midi file turn it on and change effects through the song . It also turns it off to talk to the audience between songs. I programmed a chorus delay effect which sounds cool . there are other presets you may like. Hope it helps

Digetech also do a Midi Vocalist One of it's features copies your voice to notes played on midi ch5 for harmonies, if you put the melody on ch5 it will act as a voice doubler

I have found that using a vocal maximizer does the trick. Many studios use them and I don't think they are very expensive.

1 pkt of smokes and a large bottle of whisky all consumed 5 minutes before first set.

Can anyone help me find VT 1 (voice transformer) by Roland corp? I got some members of my clan who are citizen of the U.S.A. but they can't find it. If you do have an idea where to purchase it, please, let me know. Thanks
