Hi Everyone. I admit my ignorance - I just dont know what MPC stands for. Please enlighten me, someone.?? I downloaded a software called Audio Convert 532 which promised to convert these MPC files to theMP3s or WAVs , but nothing happened except that all of the MPC files which were originally 9 to 12 mb, were reduced to a few hundred Kbs and ofcourse nothing played. Could someone advise me. Would really appreciate it With warm regards Shyam

Hi Pat Thanks for the link, but its all the same. After downloading and installing them, the conversions are all 75% or 50% (whatever that means) and its a big rip off after being assured its free ware. Thanks anyway and if you do find a good reliable download, do let me know With warm regards Shyam

Shyam sorry to learn this still hasn't been resolved. I am sure there are such converters that will do the job you want - and for free. Hopefully we, or some member, will come across such a link in due course.

Re: .mpc Files - What are they? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- HI shyamwestwind, I don't know much about these files but maybe this site can shine some light on the subject These are musepack files -- smaller than mp3's with the same quality or better quality at the same size. You will find a plug-in to decode/burn with Nero at neroplugins.cd-rw.org.

Shyam... The reason for the link not opening is because of the . (full stop at the end)..... Try this neroplugins.cd-rw.orgShould work now. < (This is where the full stop should be)
