When i try to open vsc midi file its telling me:- vsc midi device or the audio device to be used for vsc audio output cannot be opened. playback unavailable at this time.
Can anyone help me with this?

Try uninstalling the vsc program, reboot, then install it again. It sounds like you could have a software glitch. If not, then my apologies for being wrong.

I agree with pmalcolm
I use VSC and have had the same problem, after i reinstall the program everything is fine again
