Hi dingadong Theres a small util called gmmidi and a option for making medleys but you would have to maybe edit some files b4 making the medley, becuse what you do is just add your files you want then generate medley . but all its doing really is adding all the files together. if you know what i mean. if you want say 4 songs in a medley but keeping the same style pattern and drum beats well i dunno of such a prog possibly you might have to get someone to sequence it for you.Sorry i cant be of more help Levi2

Medley making is not quite as easy as you may think. You can't just copy one song to the end of another. If you are combining tunes that already exist you will find that there are different instruments on different channels. For example, the bass on one file may be on channel 2 while on another file it is on channel 6. and you may find that once you get to the second tune your base is now a xylophone! So you have to copy each track individually. Then there's the problem of tempo changes, and key changes. You need to write a turn around that will lead into a new key if you don't transpose each tune. Even with that you still need to write a transition from one tune to the next. A medley is not just one tune following another, or at least, it shouldn't be. There are a plethora of obstacles to overcome when putting a medley of existing files together. Believe me, I have barely scratched the surface here. Just know that it takes a lot of time and sequencing experience to successfully create a medley from existing files. It's not a job for the inexperienced, nor the feint hearted LOL Cat >^..^<
