Hi there, Could someone tell me why out of all the files I have down loaded from MidiMart, the only one that I can't download and play is Gerry And The Pacemakers Dont let the sun catch you crying. When I try to down load it it just shows up as a folder with dltsc-gp on it. It will play on my computer but it will not download and play?

Can anyone else download this and save it/play it/use it... this is the full link to it... On your post you put 'dltsc-gp' the file-name for this track is 'dltscyc-gp' - Give this link a go. www.midimart.net/pages/midi/files/dltscyc-gp.zip

I can pick any of the other songs and there is no problem

Hi Sheeza,
Is it possible that your keyboard only reads midi format 0. The file your downloadinging is in midi format 1. I've sent you a Midi format 0 to your email, see if it helps.

Glad about that shezza....
If you need to convert from midi file 1 to midi file 0 or 0 to 1 then the Jazz Sequencer on the download page of the main site will do this and it is free too.

usually you just load up your midifile then save it in the format you want either 0 or 1

alpina....
I am assuming you are using JazzSequencer.... If you are then read on, if not then do as levi2 has suggested.
Open Jazz with the file loaded, click on "MISC" and you will see, "Split Tracks" (Midi File 1) - or "Merge Tracks (Midi File 0), then just re-save....
Done.

Yes that worked . Well sort off. I chose the merge option and while it playes it sounded sort of jumbled up. Certainly different from the original . I noticed that the brush drums had changed to a snare drum.
Thanks for your replys and help
Andy
