I seem to spend forever extracting single midi and MP3 from zip files, just wondering if there is a way to extract more than one at a time into one specific folder.

So does WinZip.
We keep them in single zip files because, if we say zip all the Beatles midi's into one zip file and a person only wants two of the tracks. Think of the time downloading and there are many downloading with limits still imposed on their dial up or broadband accounts.
With larger files, these limits soon reach there maximum.
But this may work in another way. On the main site, if an artiste has 5 or more tracks credited to him/her then I could place a compilation zip file, containing all the tracks listed. This would be placed on site below the atriste as well as their single tracks.
I.E. Click here to download ALL The Beatles tracks above.

Jacqui Not sure about winZip but winRAR puts an option in the windows explorer. Just right click your mouse to see it. So just highlight all the files you want to unzip/unRAR, right click and you have the option to unzip in the current dir or select the dir to unzip to and that will allow you to do masses at once. I hope this helps you. Roger

I use winzip, and I find I can unzip a file and tell it which folder to be sent to, but if I select more than one file to extract, I still have to do each one separately and and go to browse/select folder etc. Is it possible to select say 10 zip files at the same time, and extract and send them to a folder all at the same time. For example download 10 latest minimart files to a folder and extract them all at the same time to another folder so they are now all open, then delete the folder with the original zipped files. Hope that makes sense Jacqui
