Hi I am a live performer using MIDI drums and Bass backing and need to create something like an 8 beat intro to give me a clue when to start the live bit!! I figured that moving the tracks and then adding a seperate lead in track might be the answer and then doing a wave file vocal - is there a better way?? Thanx

Well here's what I do...... I use cakewalk so I input a measure at the beginning and then add 4 hihat beats to the first 4 beats.... works every time

Thse same method above work on Cubase too, Add the four beats AFTER any set up codes and make sure you start on the first beat of the bar adding a bet on beats 1 2 3 4 (omly if n 4 time) 3 beats for 4 time etc etc

Thanks guys - Worked a treat after a bit of fiddling! I use Cakewalk Pro (mainly) and have Cubase also. Appreciate the responses - many thanks ;D
