could anyone tell me if there is a program(free to download lol) out there that i could use to balance midi's. Some may be louder than others,so i'm looking for that balance ,some kind of equalizer of some sort thank you ;D

You have to do that within a sequencing program and a lot of times it's not as simple as changing a main volume. You have to look at velocities and expressions as well. It takes a little effort and time because you must look at all three controls on every channel. I have a program I could give to you but you then would have to learn how to use it. Im willing to teach you as well. Cat >^..^<

Sorry for taking so long to reply but I'm really not a message board sort. The program is Voyetra Digital Orchestrator Pro. Voyetra no longer makes it however, their so called new program, Record Producer Deluxe, is the same program with such minor 'improvements' that it's hardly noticeable. Contact me at my addy, oneqtcat@juno.com and we'll talk about it getting you into sequencing. Keep in mind MIDI sequencing has a pretty steep learning curve. I've had one guy think he could learn 'just enough to be able to edit files' There's really no such thing as just enough to do that. If you learn that you are indeed learning sequencing as you have to have the same understanding to edit as you do to create from scratch. Cat >^..^<
