Please help. I've loaded Midi Files from your site onto my PC and it plays great in Windows Media Player. How do I copy these files onto a CD (Audio Format) in order for me to sing-a-long at home, playing the CD in a normal CD-player.

Lisa no CD player in the world will read midi files, sorry to tell you.
The first thing is that you MUST convert the midi file into audio. There are many midi converters out there on the web and they all do almost the same job.
As you may have seen on our latest mp3 files, I convert to mp3 (smaller files) but you can convert to wav if you like (bigger files) and store them in a folder.
Open the folder and select all - Right click and you will see "Add To Burn List". Click this and sit back while the media player burns them to CD for you.......
Instant audio files......

I've unzipped these files after I've downloaded them. When right-clicking, I do not see "Add to Burn List"....I do see "Add to Playlist" and "Send To", in which I can send to CD Write Drive, but I've tried this and it still did not play (yesterday). Please take me through this step-wise. I click on a song and it asks me to Open or Save. (previously, I've saved under "My Music") Then it was in a ....zip format and I unzipped it. What did I do wrong; do I start all over and if what I did was right, how do I now convert it, or how do I burn these Midi-songs to CD - so that it actually plays on my system at home? If I need a Midi Converter, where can I look for it on the Net? Sorry for all these questions....I would like to start practising some songs and get back into the Music-world.....I am a singer that totally neglected my talents the last 10 years...Help!

No Lisa you got it wrong. On our Latest MP3 files (added weekly) - these are not zipped. once you double click (left) it will open in your media player. Save as from the file menu and put in your file name. Go to this file on your hard drive, now click with right mouse button. Add to burn list. It will only work with mp3 or wav files - not with midi, you must convert the midi file to mp3 or wav first. Lots of programs on the web do this. On your browser you will have a search engine, just type in midi converter - you will get 100's. Chose the one that suits you and your away. I personally use midConverter. It records in real time and I find it also gives the best quality. it costs $29.95 (£16.74 or €24.15). You can find it at www.midconverter.com/It will do all you need.

I edit and convert my Midi files with a program called 'Virtual Sound Canvas', then I convert the completed file with a program called 'MP3 Converter Simple' then I burn them onto a C.D. and play them at my Gig's, if you need any more info let me know Steve

Thanks Steve
I am still trying to get this done to perfect. I've downloaded another programme (on trial) "Direct Midi to MP3", but this takes ages. You can only convert 5 songs at a time (taking forever) and it does not produce the same quality. I really need some backtracks to start practising and I am quite frustrated at the moment. I will go to the programmes that you've mentioned and see what I can come up with. Will let you know.

Hi Marlise,
I also use Virtual Sound Canvas. I have other software, but I have found that conversion to Audio format in Virtual Sound Canvas is far simpler and quicker than anything else I've used. It's one-click functionality, and takes seconds. It's also a virtual synth, with very nice sound fonts.
