Hi Will, Sorry to hear about your problem. What keyboard are you using? I use a Yamaha PSR - K-1 to play my midi files when I gig. It's a cheap old thing, cost about £400.00 but does the job perfectly for my needs, even shows the lyrics . (Handy for when you don't have time to learn the words of a new song) I could use a more expensive keyboard but as the K-1 plays 99.9% of files I'm not complaining. I'm not a great keyboard player anyway - hence the need for the files I'm surprised to hear that Gnmidi does not format in a way you want as it does work the finest for me. I find I can change files from - or to - either format with ease. If you wish you can send me some files and I'll see if I can help.

Hi Pat..im using a korg i5s, I have it about 9 years now, great keyboard...Got it for £600, back in 1997...but it takes about 40 seconds to load a file if it's not formatted.ONCE THE FILE IS IN FORMAT 0, it will play like a cd player, 1 after the other, might take you up on that offer if you dont mind, if i zip a few file would you mind formatting them for me, to - 0 ? Cheers Will

what format does your keyboard support 1 or 0 because if you can load the midi in to cakewalk you can save it as any format just go to file save as click on the pull down bar and save to the format you need 1 or 0 this should work if not your files may be corrupted
