I have recently recorded some music onto my PC from Tapes & Mini Disc, they are recorded in MP3 format but as one large file each, I've been told you can split them into Individual Tracks to transfer to CD with a Wave Editor if they have silent breaks which they do, but when I load them I just can't find the option to split them. I have Ahead Nero 5, with a Wave Editor, and a Creative Soundcard Audigy 2 ZS which has a Wave Editing Program also, so if anyone can point me in the right direction, I be really grateful

Hi Jacqui01 You can split/edit your tracks by using a WAV sampler I use a program called GOLDWAVE which is ideal for splitting tracks Just import your file into G/wave then you can edit out each indvidual track save the song into your music file, reload the original file and edit the next track It may seem long winded but I find this is the easiest method Good luck ceedcorp
