In Guitar Pro, you have a metronone built in. You can also mute the tracks you don't want to hear, leaving only those you wish to use for accompaniment. And, you have the ability to slow the tempo to help you learn the song. I don't have a DR-5, and I have no idea what it is ... but Guitar Pro seems to offer me the tools you mentioned, and I do not have to export it to MIDI and play it through something else. Another thing I might mention is to go to www.mysongbook.com an post your question there. It is a site owned by Guitar Pro for distribution of tabs made with Guitar Pro. There are hundreds of guitarists registered there. Good luck!
