Hi Everyone I am really impressed with this site and all its fabulous mp3's. What I want is a windows programme that will enable me to transpose mp3's and perhaps cut out the silence at the begining. Any ideas Regards Rob

Hi there Rob Don't know of any software for this job. I will probably be corrected though.... The only thing I know of that will transpose an mp3 file is a key shifter. Some tape decks or mini disk players have this facility. All these do is speed up or slow down the recording, hence changes pitch (key). If you need a specific song/s thats on our site, let me know through our contacts and we will change the key for you. Let us know the exact title and artiste and key.... We will also cut out the blank at the beginning too. Please note - We will not alter/amend/convert any other track that is NOT on our main site.We always try to convert our midi files to mp3 using the original key, as most artiste hear the original and sing (in my case - warble) in that key.

Hi Rob,
The name of a program that will do this is Adobe Audition. Just open the mp3 in the proggy, save it back as a wav file, which will open it up as a sound wave. Then highlight the bit you want to keep (which should be most of the song, right click and choose trim and voila!!! it will cut the beginning off. Then just save it back to an mp3 file
Regards Stivy
