I wonder if anyone agrees whether it might be a good idea to try to put all the tutorials that have been written over the years into one section to make them easier to find? Maybe close by to the MIDI basics and technical questions?
Perhaps, as we don't currently have a MIDI file site associated with us, a section such as this may attract new members and make it easier for the non-sequencing members to "have-a-go"?
Wot d'ya fink?

I think that would be a great idea John, will that include some for the Cakewalk uses? Hi all, Wow, thanks for that vote of confidence. I am certainly prepared to go through my tutorial posts and move them to such a section should it come into existence, but I think it would need a moderator to gradually sift through past posts and extract all such stuff. At the moment I am too busy writing them to do that too! OR maybe others who have contributed tutorials could be persuaded to move theirs with what ever topping, tailing and editing might be necessary. Steve, if you take a look in the technical questions section you will see that I have recently started to post a few tutorials specifically for CakeWalk. And have one for Jacqui, another for Simmo and yet another for Shyam scheduled. I'll put the Fade-win CAL routine on the list for you. Wee George, I don't know where to begin to offer one as a beginners guide to sequencing, as so much would depend upon equipment being used, keyboard skills and other factors. So, at least for the time being, I will stick to modifying already existing files. Is that okay? HELP ... drowning! Regards, JohnG.

Terrific idea John. We have spoken about this behind doors and the general feel is it is an excellent idea. I am hopeful we'll have such a board up and running this evening, I am off at 6 am tomorrow morning and if it ain't done this evening it will be sometime Sunday
