Is it possible to change the background that comes with Vanbasco?

You can change the back ground and do loads of other things with vanbasco.
What you have to do is place the arrow over the vanbasco screen and then right click. Then go to options. Then you'll see a "browse" button. The rest is fairly straight foreward.

I have just followed the advice as posted by vagas and it does work. Never knew you could do it as easy as that. I put in a great photo of a lovely sandy beach in Aruba!
