Hi to all on this great site. My name is Ken and I am from Yorkshire. I have played guitar for quite some years and gig from time to time just for fun. Lately I have discovered the power of MIDI and have made great steps forward in manipulating files using a Yamaha QY700 - but there is so much to learn!! Production of MIDIs from scratch however is proving hard to grasp but I am working on it! I hope to be able to get some pointers through this site and I am very happy to share what I have already learned. I hope to chat to many of you guys in due course.
Cheers, Ken

Hi Ken and welcome to MIDI Hangout. Thank you for taking the time to register. I am a guitar player myself and although I use keyboards when gigging I still play guitar for self amusement and expression at home.

Hi Ken, And a warm welcome to the site. You will find a pretty happy, helpful bunch of people here, always willing to engage in a chat, and ready to help whenever you get stuck or need some advice. Yea creating MIDIs from scratch takes some work, but in the end is so satisfying. Keep at it, you will make it eventually. You're right about there being a lot to learn. Kinda interesting though isn't it? Welcome aboard, JohnG.
