Hello to all at this very cool site.
I've been playing music since the age of 11, earned pocket money in my home state of Michingan during university with a pink Wurlitzer electric piano (nothing but Rock N' Roll) but never played professionally. Its always just been a great passion.
I've had numerous keyboards over the years and presently enjoy my Tyros 11, almply sufficient for my needs.
I lived in Paris for many years and have now taken early retirement in Marrakesh where its sunny all year round. My wife and I run a riad guest house in the old town of Marrakesh and life is pretty good.......except for one thing and perhaps one of you dudes (dudettes) could help me out.
I signed up today, joined the forum and paid my £15.50 to access all the files on Midimart. I was instructed to wait 24 hours or a maximum of seven days to be able to use my own password, etc.. I was also given a provisional code & password to be able to start downloading immediately, but it doesn't make the thing work.
Is this niormal? Can anyone help?
Thanks,
Paul (Newtonman)

Hi Newtonman, and a warm, welcome to the forum.
As Tubbs has said, the forum and the main MidiMart site are two separate entities, and we have no involvement in the main sites administration.
We do however everything we can to assist our forum members, and I'm sure that you will find this forum an intereswing and helpful place.

A big thanks to tubbs and geraint for their help & useful information. Its always a bit difficult to get used to how things work on a new site. I was on another general site for several years where we did a lot of C&P work with Photoshop which was great fun. Unfortunately, it became pay ($29 American), which is not exactly the end of the world but, as things turned out, it became the end of the site. I guess I can wait a bit to download but the choice does seem very impressive. I signed up and paid for another music download site which was a total disappointment choice wise (I'm primarily interested in midi file downloads) before taking a real hard look at others. This is when I stumbled across Midimart. It seems to be one of the best going. We'll see a bit further down the road.
