Hi Everyone We had a beautiful visitor the other day - a Barn Owl and we were lucky to get a photograph of it. We have a little Hill Mynah given to us by my former musician partner Elvis when he left for Australia.and I cant help wondering if this Barn Owl came to see the Mynah. It was on the window awning and was staring at the caged bird. Have any of you any information on these Barn Owls ? The perfectly heart shaped face is so very pretty.

Nice pic.We had a minor bird called Morris for obviouse reasons and it was a brilliant talker. Barn owls are usualy nocturnal. They eat small birds and rodents maybe thats why he called to see your pet minor.

Yea Shyam, I think the big beauty was checking out whether your little beauty would make a good meal. The owl is a predator, direct descendant from the velociraptor! Mynah = yum, yum! Nice picture though! JohnG.
