 Hi Everyone These beautiful birds were "grazing" in the backyard of my friend's house in Coimbatore, India. I tried to caption this with the name of the bird and the censorship was truly funny !!!!!!!! PEthingyS AND PEAHEN |

Its me again !! Could someone tell me why the actual photograph cannot be viewed in this thread ? I got all my earlier pics inserted properly but there's something which I think I'm not doing right.
I need to know............please

Hi Shyam,
You need to upload it to an image sharing site like ImageShack, then copy the image url from the site, then paste it between an "image" with square brackets around it and another "/image" with square brackets around that too. Obviously not the " ". By the looks of your first post you may have missed off the [/image]
And another thing you cannot call a particular kind of bird a pea (male part) it is considered rude and will be replaced with the word "thingy". Take a look at your post and have a laugh! You can have a peahen but not a peathingy. lol

So sorry Shyam, My mistake. The two sets of surrounding html should have been img and /img surrounded by square brackets. But if you click on the little icon that looks like a picture frame 4th from the left, directly above the smileys, when you are posting, the html will be entered automatically at the current cursor position. Position the cursor between the two. If you are uploading your image to Imageshack then right click on the image there and you will be given the option to "share it". put the "direct" url at the new cursor position. That should then work.  Works for me! JohnG |

 YEAH YEAH YEAH I GOT IT !!! Guess what guys, the problem was in the caption. I uploded it from Image Shack captionimng it as "Pea (male part) and Peahen but it was "censored" in the Forum so the link got distorted !! Now that I re;oaded the pic with a new caption, its all fine. PHEW !!!!!! |

Well figured Shyam. Yea as I said what the hosting site thinks are "naughty" words get altered. Never thought it would alter the text inside the file's name though! That's a new one. Now where are those darn birds hiding?   JohnG. |
