Oh, doesn´t that look lovely! The sun is shining and the grass is green.....but perhaps you are dreaming of a white Christmas, I don´t know. Here up north we have had a heavy blizzard and the snow is everywhere. But you can´t have it both ways so I will have to wait a while. All the best lena

Hi Simmo, Now somehow I recognise those two shots from somewhere! Er ... ! Hear in Deutschland we have had snow followed by freezing weather. On Monday night I had to drive from here (Bonn) to Münster, about 200 kilometres away. We set off at about 6:30 pm and made good progress initially. Then upon reaching the Wuppertal area (many bridges across ravines with rivers beneath), we entered the traffic jam. Chaos! After queueing for a couple of hours (trapped on the autobahn) we discovered that the problem was that the mist rising from the warm water of one river was freezing solid on the bridge above. The best that could be done was to unfreeze a lane and let a few hundred cars through before it froze again, and then repeat the process. It took four and a half hours to get there, and just two to get back yesterday. What fun! JohnG. P.S. Can you export some of that sunshine and warmth over here PLEASE!
