Guys and Girls, We came back after an enjoyable trip to Kodaikanal, another beautiful hill station in South India, It was monsoon time and we had really heavy rains. There were waterfalls all over and most of the time there was heavy mist and fog, but we did get lucky at times when the sun came through for a few minutes each day. I hope these pics are of the right size and I trust you'll enjoy them as much as we did. 1. A picture of the luscious rice ields at the foothills 2. The old boat houe at the Kodaikanal Lake 3. A view of the Kodaikanal Lake 4. A picture of my relation !!!!!!!!!!

Thanks, Shyam. Is it expensive? I only ask as we are currently on the hunt for a decent camera at them moment. By the way, if those shots are experimenting ones then what will you produce when you have mastered the camera

Gosh Pat, there are so many things I have to learn and I have already started looking thro the manual. Its a pretty decent camera but not too professional, but I guess its more than what we amateurs need. Please link to this link for a review in Steve's Digicams and you'll have a lot of answers www.steves-digicams.com/2006_reviews/a640.htmlThe variangle lcd display is really very useful. I think its priced at around Rs.14000/- here which should work out to about 150 pound sterling, maybe less. Its good, Pat and you'll find a good friend in it.

Cor, Shyam, am I envious. That looks SO beautiful. It's just 6.5 C here today and I'm cold! Brrrrr! Send us some sunshine I need it. I'm down with a swine of a virus at the mo'. Boo hoo, why don't I live somewhere warm? JohnG. P.S. Does that mean we're related? P.P.S. Piccie sizes are "spot on". I did say sorry!

As I said earlier, and I repeat now, all of you are welcome to stay with me ...... honest !!!!! Dont land up all together - thats all I ask . JohnG, I hope you're feeling better - the crazy new viruses around are getting more and more vicious. Do take care and keep yourself warm.
