Here is one for people like myself who own and love dogs.
Ever heard the old saying, 'Let sleeping dogs lie?" here's a little poem that a friend told to me a long time ago.
When my dog wakes me up at dawn,
wanting to be out and gone.
Sometimes I wish that he would try,
and let sleeping people lie.
