A plea for sanity,

Whilst I'm all for posting the occasional picture here, could I very respectfully ask people to reduce them to a size where they don't go off the edge of the screen please? Pretty please? It makes reading the last 100 posts so difficult when the wide pictures take the text right off the edge of the screen for all the other posts.

Shyam could you reduce this one please my friend???

On the forum it's more than twice the width of my display.

P.S. If you've got MS Photo Editor it's easy, it's "image", "resize" and then set a percentage. Make sure you have the magnification set to 100% and the image once resized should fit into the screen easily.

If you haven't, you can send it to me at the regular e-mail addy garsidejl(at)yahoo(dot)co(dot)uk. I'll resize it for you and send it right back.

JohnG, The picture has been resized. Please do bear with me as I'm new to this and have still to learn a few fine points. The original picture was heavy on the bytes and I reduced that but didnt pay attention to the actual size. Hope this is fine.
I wish you didnt come on so strong, JohnG - we are just novices m, but we are learning. Softer advice would be most welcome and ....I'm willing to listen.

It was my fault I should have reduced it before I emailed to Shyam.I realised after I sent it as it took about 8 minutes in the virus scan.

Hey Shyam,

I wasn't trying to be heavy handed here (and thanks so much for re-sizing the image MUCH better), if my post came over as that then I apologise unreservedly.

Maybe I was just a little peeved at having to scroll back and forth to read all the messages. I'm under the influence of a very heavy cold at the moment with severe laryngitis. Susanne says the quiet is bliss! Harumph!

As far as the piccy goes WOW now that's some "puddy tat"!
