Hi Everyone I thought I'd share these with you. The first is of my wife and me on my 62nd birthday last Friday, the 19th. Her name is Hema (pronounced - hey-ma) , but I call her Hem in short. She has been my biggest fan and supporter for 37 years and I love her so much, I know I'll search for her in my next life, if there is such a thing as re-birth !! I wish my darling daughter was with me too. The other pic is of our home here in Bangalore - a home for any of you who wish to visit Sunny India !! www.4shared.com/file/63890037/f277b713/HEM_SHYAM_19TH_SEPT_08.htmlwww.4shared.com/file/63890157/a5ef7aa2/HOME_FRONT_VIEW.html

Hey Shyam,
Put the kettle on, I'm on my way. And I just love curries.
India is, sadly, one of the few continents I've never visited. Why sad? Because ever since I lived in East Africa as a child I have listened to and loved Indian Classical music.
See ya soon! JohnG.

Hi Shyam, Goodness I really wish I could. What sort of curries do you have in your part of India? We had several Indian friends in East Africa that I remember as a boy, some of the things they served up were really fiery. I have found a good restaurant here that cooks traditional Indian food (European style I guess) but I have to keep asking them to make them how they would eat them otherwise they're far too mild for me. But I do draw the line at Vindaloo and Phal.
I cook curries myself Kashmiri style and Rogon Josh and so on, but I expect these are just Anglicised names. JohnG.
