Hi everyone. For those of you who are interested I am booked to do a few songs live on a radio station here in Ireland on Thursday night, 30 November 2006. The show starts at 10 pm [Ireland/UK time] and can be listened to via this link: www.midlandsradio.fm/I only had this confirmed very recently, so sorry for the short notice. It a two hour show but I am only one of the "featured" acts to be broadcast live, but don't let that put you off If you do manage to tune in listen our for the Name Pat Lee, that's me

Cool stuff, Pat. I've just been listening to the Midlands midnight news over there, so for all those here on the East Coast of Oz we're 11 hours ahead of Midlands103. I'll be listening for you in Sydney tomorrow morning.

Thanks lads for all your best wishes. Hopefully all will go well. It is going out live from a pub in the village of Kinnity in Co. Offaly. It is a place I gig in regularly so I'm very familiar with the place. I received one good-luck e-mail from a friend who reminds me I have a face that's perfect for radio ;D ;D Cubb's idea of recording it for those who can't tune in is going to be implemented - so none of you can escape ;D ;D

Well done on the recording of the show tonight. I was going to post a request to see if anyone was capable of recording. I have a slow internet connection due to living in a rural area. Also, it will go on at 3a.m. local. Break a leg, Pat!

I know the Pig & Whistle. Gigged there many a time a few years back. The gig itself went amazingly well. I sang just one song and hour into the show, but I "played" the opening music as well My wife, God bless her, was responsible for the recording but unfortunately it didn't work out too well. For some reason it came out all crackly and distorted, in other words it [the recording] was a disaster. So if anyone has made a [decent] copy please send it my way. Thanks again for all the support.

Yes, the atmosphere was really great, everyone was very excited and for a "local" radio set up it was very professionally put together. This is something they do each and every Thursday night, always at a different venue. Great craic

I loved the way it was done ..none of those dodgy DJ voices ( where do they get them) it was great craic it jus seemed like normal people on a great night out... brilliant.. loved the wee local history bits as well

You are right Cubb. It was certainly a lovely mix of craic agus ceoil Not sure if this approach is unique to Ireland but it is highly effective and in some cases addictive, especially with the more mature people of the Island.
