Gosh, I miss my PSR 3000 and the Smart Card. It could hold about 250 odd Midis and I wasn't dependent on any USB Pen drives. I rushed to work tlast evening and realized, too late that Id forgotten my Pen drives. The S900 has internal storage of 1.44 mb - about 30 midis and I had to use accompaniments and the Music Finder to carry the night. i've learnt a lesson and have just copied all my storage on to 4 pen drives, one kept in my car and one with my wife. Has anyone put in a HARD DISK in a S 900 ? That would be something, wouldn't it ?

Thanks for that info, but do tell me why we need to change the format ? Will my S 900 accept a FAT 32 formatted Pen drive ? I've learnt from my mistakes - got my midis in four pen drives, on in my wallet, one in my car, one with my wife and one with me.

My father has a usb drive that he carries attached to his car keys, that way he never forgets it. The downside that I pointed out to him is that he leaves it attached to the keyring when he plugs it into his computer -> he hadn't considered the weight of the keys&keyring all hanging off the flimsy USB port. But he now 'unclips' it so that he doesn't damage the USB port on his computer. He doesn't recall where he got it - he thinks it was given to him as a promotional gimmick from one of the companies he deals with - but can't rightly remember. But that could be an option for you Shyam. regards Warren
