Hi y'all. Just got back from a busy few weeks touring and I have to say how pleased I am with the whole new look and feel to the old place. I see that everyone is now a privileged member of the exclusively sounding AAA club. This is great. I mean to be treated as a honoured member and not like an ordinary Joe makes me feel quiet special. Thanks Glenn and Pat for doing this. How do other feel?

I like the Idea as well....there's no fee ... ( ya ...I'm a cheap so an so ) and all it takes is some participation which can be very healthy and especially informative. ;D

I like the new approach as well. It makes we junior members feel a little less junior. Also, the approach removes the negative stigma attached to banning, except in extreme circumstances. Finally, this route provides a positive benefit/reward to members for active participation. Yet another example of the MM Staff creatively adapting to better meet the memberships needs. Kudos all around.

Hey Ian, This has nothing to do with the thread but... love your "location"... made me laugh for 3 minutes! I'm the same as to the AAA idea, I like it and it should help keep the forum healthy and interesting. Cheers, Dave

Hi Guys Yeah I think it's a Great idea, and it would make people become more activily involved, if they are serious about the site. It's amazing just how many Anonymous Alcoholics you have as members! Glenn you must be really bad with 5 Stars lol

I know jacqui.... I have pleaded, beg and reasoned with Pat, even got on my knees but he still refuses to give me an AAA account.... In fact I frightened him to death asking for one.....I sent him a PM demanding one...... lol - I thought it was dead funny.... ;D He might forgive me for that one day.....

Hello all... well I'm quite new here and most will see this and say "moonie" who? I thought I might put the side of those who are not AAA members... I had a quick read on the regulations so to speak and wonder, if I have little to contribute to the forum what might I contribute if the requests forum is made unavailable? And to add to this I don't use midi's or backing tracks at all in my music (at present) and so I only sequence for fun and when time permits so I can go for months without writing a note... Anyway, there you have it...nice to see you have a friendly happy forum and I will happily contribute where opportunities present...

Hi everyone. I too am in a similar situation to moonie. Although I play in a band, I also occaisionally use the Forum to see if there are any songs we may be able to utilise. There are times when we actually use midi files from the forum, but most of the time I break down songs into instrument tracks to use as a guide while rehearsing. If there are parts that we can use to "enhance" our sound, then some times we do keep these parts in. I may not be the worlds best communicator so I do hope people like myself don't lose access to midi files, which by the way, are brilliant. Keep up the fantastic work boy's and girl's. Regards, Lennon

Thanks everyone for your kind words and encouragement about the new system. We are still ironing out a couple of teething problems but we are getting there. We appreciate that not everyone is able to contribute or participate all the time and that there will be occasions when it will difficult to even post a few words; but remember, all we're asking for is a little participation now and again to help keep the forum going.

AAA ,EH feel a bit of a battery, need re-charging, but once again the guys at Midi-Mart come up trumps with a reward and status symbol for people who contribute to the site ,and the Midi tracks just keep gettin better ,the sooner I get my head round this Midi programming gift ,which is what I think it is ,the more content I'll feel about havin the AAA handle.
