Here I am, doing what I enjoy best. Picking the old acoustic guitar, its an old Alvarez. These days, I gig on Saturdays at the Magnolia Blossom Cafe in Robertsdale Alabama. In this picture,I'm in my small studio where I put together midi projects. I try to keep at least 200 songs ready for the midi keyboards and the lyrics in my head to take care of requests and so that my friends don't have to listen to me sing the same songs every week. Just one more reason to thank all of You here at Midimart who have improved my ability to entertain friends and have fun.

Lots of people in my neighborhood ride horses. its a rodeo town. Its kind of cool just to sit on the front porch and watch them go by. This next photo is my first attempt to make a CD cover. one of my neighbors owns an old Doctor's buggy it happened to be parked in my front Yard at the time so we took a picture and called it, 'A Case of the highway Blues.'

The next one is of me on the right with the straw hat and the eye patch. This was just after Hurricane Ivan when i had an eye injury. My Friends had given me a new name because of that eye patch. 'The one Eyed Rooster.' My friend in the picture is wearing the black hat so here we are, sitting around with my friend, Bill.

Hi musicman ...cool pics and at least one cool guitar With that eye patch and straw hat you could front the Dr.Hook Band! LOL Good to put a face to the name btw ... thanks for posting

Hopefully, I will post some more pics. I have been thinking that it would be a good idea for musicians to make a small digital camera a part of the guitar accessories kept packed in the case along with the picks, extra strings and tuners etc. For it seems like every time there is a good jam session where everyone is having such a good time, there are plenty of musical instruments on hand, but good pictures are rare.
