Hi Levi, No, I haven't installed it yet, PC Pitstop is a good resource for info on the problems being encountered with Service Pack 3 check out techtalk.pcpitstop.com/category/the-pit-blog/ and a few of the other stories for more. Cheers, Dave.

Hi Levi, Have heard of several people having problems with soundcards etc with it and having to uninstall it! Maybe it would be wise to hold off for a while. JohnG.

According to the guy who looks after my computer, you don't need to install SP3 if you use your computer online (assuuming you have a registered copy of windows), you should receive all the updates that are in SP3 online. If you try to install it yourself, you could have problems. Maybe a case of "if it ain't broke, don't try to fix it".

Well, I do know that I installed SP3 on both my computers, my son's computer, and my wife's laptop, and have had no problems at all. Of course, I made sure all my drivers were up-to-date first. But just to be sure, I did take a disk image (I use Acronis True Image 11) of the system before I started, so I could easily backtrack if necessary.
