Hi People,
I need advice. I play my acoustic guitar thru a Fender London Reverb solid state amp 12" speaker. I had an old Barcus Berry pre amp that went south on me. What's can I get to replace it and also help in preserving the acoustic sound that I need. I really don't want to invest in another amp either. This one does the job and is light in weight.

Have you tried the Zoom effects processors.I pulled the actives out of a Parker Fly and on the acoustic end of things I plugged it into a Zoom 506 bass processor.A bit of tweaking later and I had a good few useable sounds!! When they were new they were about £90 Theres also a more basic one ,without the volume pedal for about £50. Both a lot cheaper than a dedicated acoustic preamp plus they do all the fx as welll!!!!
