Hi All. Just wanted to pass a great big THANK YOU to Jazzcat and also to remind us how lucky we are to have her and other members of the team in helping us out with techincal issues.
Jazzcat has now helped me out with3 files (because I riuned the timing or didn't like the ending) and the promptness of her reply and action is sensational.
I only wish I could return her a favour.
So Jazzcat If ever you come to Australia and in particular Geelong (an hours drive fom Melbourne) please contact me I owe you several beers!!!!!
Thanks once again. Don.

Thanks guys,
Hye Don, Umm I think I still have one of your files not done. It's getting hard to keep up! LOL You might need to send me an e-mail to remind me which one it is that I haven't finished..... Its the one I asked if you had the original untweeked one, and you said no... I think it was the Bob Marley file but sheesh, I can't remember!

Hi Cat,
The file was "is this love" by Bob Marley. If you can fix up the ending I would really appreciate it. Sorry for this tardy reply.
Hear from you soon.
Don.

Jazzcat has been helping people with midis for a long long time, her experience is invaluable and she gives her time and opinion freely on a regular basis.

I agree with everyone about JazzCat. This thread is several months old, but I wanted to express my appreciation.

Thanks Mike, the sentiments expressed here truly are uplifting. There is another member here who I want to express my thanks to, and that is my good friend, SysEx John. You guys think you are lucky I'm here? He is the real gem. He's a technical wiz. Me? I'm just a very average person who struggled for three years to learn what I now know, and I still have a very long way to go! It took blood, sweat and tears to get as far as I have, but even moreso, it took the patience of a complete stranger on the internet. This man spent hour upon hour, every day, week after week, month after month, teaching me. For that I am truly grateful. Over the years we have become close friends and work together on files. He is a fabulous writer & arranger and I am the extra set of ears, catching the occasional clunker, or saying that I don't care for this transition or whatever, etc. etc. I'll do some of what I call 'monkey work' that he'd rather not do as well. I think we make a pretty good team. If you would like to hear some of his original work, check it out here. The latest composition is called, "Another November" "Ghost Riders ( a Jazz Version)" is a cover we worked on together and I love it!! Beats the original all to heck, in my opinion! www.ucombo.com/Chase

You guys think you are lucky I'm here? He is the real gem. He's a technical wiz. "Wal shucks lil lady", I guess you are referring to me? "that's a mighty fine compliment you are paying me!" ;D The cheeks (facial) have gone all pink. Most people just call me "that MIDI geek". Your comments are most welcome and, as you say, "uplifting!" You call it compliment, I call it th' God's, honest truth!
And, I feel fortunate to be able to call you 'friend' and not just 'aquantance'.
