just popped in fir a wee while and loved this part of the forum thanks ti yis all fir sharing yer memories ..i feel so young thank yous lol
i wish i had been old enough to enjoy those days of the Beatles , Stones etc etc .. so keep them stories coming they are great

lollollol bout ye Cubb well if ya can`t rmember the Beatles and Stones concerts do youremember all the groups meeting at Ken`s Cafe at bridge end??? this is where we went when we`d finished gigging all gathering for his 1/4 burgers and chips and tell each other stories of how the gig went lol lol i remember 1 particular band that came in [they did the same circuit we did lol lol]but they always seem to get 100 quid more than the rest of us lol well 1 nite they where in spoofing when 1 of the other bands came in and listened to them talk and the lead vocalist went out and brought the guy that did the booking of the club in you could have heard a pin drop in Wales lol lol they never came back. Sadly Ken`s like all good wee cafe`s is long gone and the bands [us u and me]have no meeting place so we never get the chance to meet up now
