Johng, you really have a wealth of information and I'm trying to soak it in Thank you so much for your time - invaluable advice and info. I'm trying to do a recording from my PSR 3000 through the USB cable to the Cakewalk 9 on my PC. It records on one channel but I need to edit/change instruments of some tracks and then add on interludes etc. After getting all these together, I want to sing on an unused channel and create an own composition. I want to use Cakewalk 9 for this, is it possible ? I used to use Colledit pro but its erratic now and friends have asked me to check CW. Any suggestions or advice ? Its really fantastic getting help from experts like you . Thank you once again

Very many thanks for your comments. ;D It's the +ve feedback that keeps me writing these articles. It's good to know that what I write is not falling on deaf ears, so thanks again. ;D ;D As far as the keyboard goes I'm not an expert on the PSR3000. I use a master keyboard with no sounds and then several sound modules. My keyboard works much the same as yours, single channel. There was an answer posted about saving to floppy and then importing. You could try taking it to the "keyboards" part of the forum of course I'm sure someone there will know. If you have MIDI or mixer questions please ask away. All the best and thanks once more, JohnG
