Dear Johng Is there a way of recording an accompaniment track from my PSR 3000 onto separate tracks on Cakewalk 9 ?

Yes if you have the inerface set the keyboard to midi send allocate a track in cakewalk and play,or, record onto a floppy and then cut and paste into cakewalk.

Thank you, thingyy that was all I needed to know. I recorded an accompaniment sequence to my USB pen drive and later transferred it to my Cakewalk and lo ... the tracks showed up from 9 to 16 , all ready for editting. I'll work my way up from there and get back to you for advice and guidance. I'll need advice from you too, Johng so stay there for me, wont you ? Thank you guys.

Just a bit of lateral thinking there is always an easy way of doing things. All you need to do now is put your programe changes in on the edit function or create new tracks for the instruments in the appropriate time slots and paste them in.
