Hi Paul, I need to transfer a lot of music and videos from my hard disk to DVDs, to get more space. Most of the music are MP3s some are WAV and then there are music videos too. Do I use Nero and simply burn a DVD, like an ordinary CD, or are there any other requirements ? Please advise. Thank you

shyam i guess you just want to copy to dvd to save space .Well nero will do it just select burn as a data disc then add the files you want on the disk and then burn. when its done all you do is put yer dvd in click on the drive to open and all yer files will be there

Yep, I do this all the time with Nero. Just do a data DVD as you would a data CD. I've found I can get 7-10 CDs/record albums worth of WAV files on a DVD (depending upon the albums), or about 50 ripped CDs/record albums (MP3) at 192 kbps on a DVD. It's great for reclaiming space on the hard drive, but still keeping the file relatively easy to access.
