Hi there, You might want to have a look at the lost username/password retrieval function for the forum. (I found my username eventually from an old "update" email). I tried to retrieve my username by using my email address (as reqeuested on the page), but I kept getting an error saying that the maximum field length is 18 charcters and is only alphanumeric - therefore email addresses will not work. Maybe you should check it out.

I think you had your puter upside-down....
I have checked it out and there is no problem with the password retrieval system.
Username 18 alphanumeric, you don't have to enter your email address at all..... There is nowhere that an email address can be typed in...
If you type a username and an email to go with it, you could actually retrieve ANYONES log in and other details.... WE DON'T WANT THAT - DO WE?
It only asks you for your USERNAME and sends the details to the email address that ONLY (you) the user has entered in the first place.... (When you first registered).
Sending your details to your email address is done automatically.

Oh dear - can't imagine what I was trying to do. Maybe this girlie multitasking thing is a myth after all. Unless I was so desperate to get back on the forum that I lost my head...
