I have read about the problems that members are having logging onto the main site, and read your comments sympathizing with them before saying that this is not the section to aire this sort of problem? I to am having trouble, I to would have posted it here.Because it says for problems en-counted logging on etc. You mention that there is an overlap from the Main site, well, put it this way to get on to this forum we go to Midimart.net and then select Midifiles or Forum etc. Please don't let this site get so big that we need Moderator's for this and Moderator's for that. Please let it still be a caring site.....Pete.

Believe me I appreciate your grievances but you have to understand that the main site is Glenn's baby and any concerns relating specifically to that site should be addressed directly to him. Those who moderate on the forum - apart from -Glenn - have no way of solving any issues in regard to midimart.net. The decision to charge for access to the main site was/is Glenn's alone and neither I nor any of the mods on the forum have any say over that.
My responsibility lies solely with this, the forum, and I have no input whatsoever with the main site.
NB.... You do NOT need to come to the forum via Glenn's site. The forum has a totally different and unique URL and works independently from it.
I appreciate there are many people who are experiencing problems with accessing the main site, even those who are fully paid up members of it, but the only way to have these issues resolved in by contacting Glenn directly.
I am sorry for being blunt but please believe me there is no other way around this other than through Glenn.
Express your discontent all you wish but understand that the mods here, although understanding of your concers, can not help in this regard, their function is to assist in forum related issues and have no power to intervene on anyone's behalf in relation to the main site - all they could do is pass on a message. But if you chose this route you will only be slowing down rather than quickening up responses.

I started this whole debate, Glenn had sent me my new details last week and I only opened the E-Mail today, I didn't realize that the user/password originally issued were only temporary, Everything is working fine for me now. What can I say SORRY. Larry

No need for apologies guys....
As Pat has stated, the Forum and Main Site are totally different. Once you log onto the main site and register for membership, you are told that the log-in details are temporary and will be issued with a permanent Username and Password.
There is nothing wrong or any glitches on the main site, I just wish not only you guys would read their email and there would be no problems...
It's just like getting a new piece of software..... Who actually reads the manual.....!
