For All Windows users .I got message that Yesterday appear very danger virus , don't open any post in Your E- mails with name " Invitation", will destroy all hard disk .

I have heard this too.....
It actually wipes your hard drive, COMPLETELY.

Well I for one do NOT open any attachment to emails, unless I know exactly where they have come from......
If it looks just slightly suss...... I BIN it.

The problem with these hoax emails is they propagate as they are passed on!
Macafee on their website has also made mention of this email being a hoax......

Well I for one do NOT open any attachment to emails, unless I know exactly where they have come from...... If it looks just slightly suss...... I BIN it. I do the same Glenn, better to be safe than sorry |

My sentiments exactly, delete straight away whether you think its a hoax or not. I,d love to have 5 minutes with the losers behind these viruses.............  |

Why they do it is beyond me. One theory is that some viruses are deliberately sent out by some antivirus companies to create a demand for their product  Not sure how true this is. |

Got back Monday from our holiday in France. In the end our break turned out to be just two weeks and not the three originally intended.
France itself was as wonderful as ever, no complaints there. But three weeks in a camper with five young kids, two of them under three, started to take its toll after the first week, especially on the long drive down to the south of the country.
Great to see the forum doing so well.
Thanks to Glenn, Geraint and gang for looking after things so efficiently and professionally in my absence. Thanks also to everyone for continuing to contribute so enthusiastically.

I BIN it. the only think i would say about that is ...... when u get a virus it usually comes from people u know.... or should i say address' u know. Just for anyone that may be reading this as i know Midimart is awre of this. One of the first things a virus does is go in and copies your address book and then sends itself as a messsage from a person on the list. for example lets say i have MIDIMART and Steptoe on my address list and i get a virus. the virus comes in and sends itsself to MIDIMART using Steptoes address as the place it came from. MIDIMART see's the email from steptoe and say's ..no sweat steptoe is a good old guy and Bam... computer wipe out. MIDIMART then contacts Steptoe and say's.. hey man... what did ya do that for ya wiped me puter. when in reality the virus came from Ironbaden... Clear as mud right..  |
