Hi There,
Thinking of buying this dream guitar, with it's auto tune system. Has anyone come across this beauty? My local music shop say's there was only 450 on sale in the UK and can't get one. ! At a £1200 to £1500 price tag, i wonder. they seem to be saying there are lots of "BAD feedback about this guitar. IE. broken strings, bad tuning". What's the word out there?

Hi strawbs, I've seen one and while I think it's a brilliant idea, it's quite slow at tuning, and the machines look a bit strange, too. It's also true that us guitarists are slow to change with technology, with all the vintage stuff out there. If you are looking for a guitar for different tunings, it might be worth having a look at synth access guitars- I've a Godin LGX-SA 3-Voice guitar, and I plug it into a Roland VG-88 which can give me DADGAD, open, drop D, you name it, it's there. Amazing modelling, too. Jack.

Have you had a look at Fender's VG strat? When they first came out, we went to a Fender clinic and saw Greg Koch do a demo on one - nice clever tool for the gigging musician. Check him out on YouTube. My husband is the guitarist (I fiddle around on the bass sometimes), and he was very impressed - he will end up buying one at some stage, I'm sure. www.fender.com/vgstrat/home.htmlwww.fender.com/products//search.php?partno=0117502700
