Just an added note on cheap guitars you can clone virtually any guitar you want just change the electrics ,machineheads and any other part to your own requirements and you have your own custom guitar .
When you buy a real Gibson for example you are paying heavily for the name and then for the signature model you are paying a lot of money,but who cares about these names customise your own then when someone asks about the instrument just tell them its your own custom design see there eyes light up then .
I have customised several guitars now and they are to my own requirements they are all awesome .
The only downfall if you like you cant really try until you buy you pay your money take your chance but i have never been let down yet.
Do your homework first find out about the parts then go ahead .

Been toying with the idea of building my own guitar for a while now, and still not sure..... I have a fender strat and i have an aria strat (cheapy) which i use out sometimes. As i said i wanna build my own and for some reason or other am looking at building a telecaster. Why? Dunno Just an urge
