Drum Machines

A friend of mine has a Boss DR3 drum machine the workings of which are totally alien to me, as I have never used one.

It has Midi In and out, and I just wondered whether it was possible to midi rhythms off my yamaha keyboard and store them on the drum machine , and if so how.

i know the DR3 is a great sounding machine and works great as a sound module.... i think it can record parts via midi if i'm not mistaken... i love that drum machine...i wish i could get my hands on it.
