:)Hi There Tiny, I bought my very first guitar from a place in London called Bell, it was a Watkins Rapier bass in a light blue, it was gorgeous. Bell was a very popular place for musicians to buy their gear from in the sixties because it was mail order and they had a catalogue with all the guitars and amps that they sold,(wish I still had one of their catalogues) And you could pay monthly without to much paper work. They used to advertise in a Sunday newspaper called the Tit Bits I also had a Selmer treble and bass amp from them. The very first group a joined, the lead guitarist like oldsage had a Burns Trisonic and a Watkins Copy Cat, He sounded and looked just like Hank Marvin. (and that was way before tribute bands)
