I'll be the first to admit that I am addicted to guitars. No, you can't play more than one at a time - my wife likes to make that observation. But you CAN play as many as you like in a good night's practice and I always take 3 or 4 when I'm out gigging.
Guitar Centers recently opened a large store right in my home town and that has been both a blessing and a burden. I've been playing a lot of guitars there in the last few months, getting to run the necks on guitars I've never before held in my own sweat-free hands.
My latest purchse was a Fender Standard Strat (made in Mexico) that all the guys working at Guitar Center were oohing and ahhing over. As soon as I walked in the door, Ryan and Ian were beckoning me over and telling me I just HAD to try out this guitar. They were raving over the tone and the awesome neck.
They were right. It was a beauty. Deep red color, standard single coils, but with a really great sound. And the neck was perfect. It had only been in stock for two days. When I walked out the door, I took it with me and I've been playing it constantly in the music room at home. It's sweet.
With all the great guitars available today, what have you brought home lately?

I love the way that the word B@$$ was changed to Brear end in my last post!
Didn't think my typing was that bad!

My most recent guitar purchase was a 1988 Fender Strat. The sad thing is this purchase took place in 1988. ;D
