Well over the years i have had several guitars Starting with an old Kay Acoustic which i gave to my brother.(he still has it) I then puchased a Mountain Acoustic (from a distance it looked like Martin.) I gave this to a friend. I then had a Maya Strat copy followed by a cut down Burns and a fender Bass(I can play A little) i then got a Daion Acoustic which i had for twenty two years(unfortunately got knocked over and damaged on gig).(I now play a fleetwood electric acoustic which has a great action and good sound. I also have a fender Squier which is okay. I mostly play rhythm to acompany my singing occassionally I playsome instrumentals .
Regards
Mark

I have an Ibanez acoustic, and a Gibson SG, which is about 50 years old..It's wrecked and dirty but I love it..I use the Gibson for gigging.. I only use the acoustic in the house...I've had other guitars in my life, but apart from another SG when I lived in England, just various acoustics and Spanish guitars.. Actually Mark [above], I've been seeing those Squires in a few shops here in Cyprus, and was thinking of getting one..Are they any good..?? I mean, are they really Fender made..?? They're quite cheap really, but I've never tried one...

Hi Katrina. I own several upmarket (pricey) guitars, but of late I have been using a Squire Vintage Modified Telecaster® Thinline guitar and it is one of the best Guitars I have played!! Sounds great thanks to the Duncan Designed pickups and plays extremely well straight out of the box, good quality hardware, stays in tune! A great guitar!! There is a pic of it HereI had a Gibson SG back in the 70's which was unfortunately stolen, I was never able to find another SG as good as my original Here's a pic of me & my SG around 1974, my hair was somewhat longer back then, as I suspect so was everyone elses ;D Cheers John

Hi John, that's a great photo, it looks just like me..!! [except I'm blonde....and a girl..] I must try one of those squiers then... I love my SG so much [and it NEVER goes out of tune] but I've never actually played a semi-accoustic live..but one of these days I'll go and spend the day in the guitar shop and try them all... YOUR SG looks all shiny and new...MINE has has parts with bare wood where the sweat of my forearm has pushed all the varnish into a big line of muggy looking stuff [eeww], which I then scrubbed off, and sanded...and I had to tape the back all up cos the varnish melted and the guitar was stuck to me by the end of every gig...... But is NEVER goes out of tune...!!!!

I saw a guy the other day with a tee shirt with "You Can Never Have Too Many Guitars" on it. Unfortunately my wife doesn't agree, and I'm down to 3 now- a couple of Synth Access Godins, and a lovely G&L ASAT in red sparkle- they are amazing and vastly underrated here in Blighty. Anyone else using the Godins? Jack.
