I've been trying to find out if Korg makes a sound module with the exact sounds/sound banks as the PA1X Pro.
I have seen no sound modules on the Korg site, just arranger keyboards. Can any one tell me if I'm just missing it somehow or if they do not make just a sound module. Thanks

I think they make what they call "rack" versions of some of their synths but have stopped, like some others, making what we would call "sound modules". JohnG.

I'm looking specifically for one with the exact sounds/sound banks, Patches & bank MSB LSB as the PA1X Pro. I have to have that exact one to be compatible with the person I may wind up touring with. I have to be able to rewrite and re patch files to play correctly in his PA1X Pro. So far I've come up empty. To me, if it contains the sounds of the keyboard version, without the keyboard, it's casing doesn't matter. Rack mountable, spherical, or the size of a cigarette pack and in my pocket, it's still a sound module in my eyes. <grin> Ebay UK wouldn't do me much good as I'm a Yank across the big ol' pond. Also, I need patch maps ( instrument definitions) for it. It has approx 896 separate patches and I do NOT want to have to write patch maps in every DAW or sequencing prg I might have to use! Can you imagine the work? Uggh!!
